In 2015, ”Shikoku Henro" ~ Circular Henro Route and Unique Henro Culture ~ has become one of Japan Heritage sites.

We provide the regular size (B5) Nōkyō-chō(stamp book) with a beautiful and high-class golden brocade(kinran/金襴) to celebrate it.

The cloth expresses the henro path in spring.

The wagesa can be used on the Shikoku henro and on other pilgrimages throughout Japan.

Wagesa is part of the pilgrim's traditional attire and a necessary item on the pilgrimage.

It must be taken off when going into a washroom or while eating meals.

Please treat it carefully (do not place it on the ground, but on a chair or table).
